Species information
P. rufipes is one of the larger Pentatomidae in our region. It occurs in Europe and palaearctic Asia. It is not rare and is also found in city areas.
Typical characters are the orange-brown legs and a path of the same colour at the tip of the scutellum.
Body length: 13-15 mm.

Location
I found the specimen in open forest of the Wetterstein-Gebirge in Bavaria.
Altitude: about 1100 m

This species in almost black colour isn't known for me. Excellent sharpness, good light also nice BG.

bei Durchsicht meiner Wanzenbilder suchte ich nach Vergleichbarem, und wurde bei Dir fündig. Dein Tier wirkt wunderbar plastisch, die vielen Reflexe des seitlich einfallenden Lichts auf der löchrigen Kuticula sind wohl dafür verantwortlich. Toll die Tiefenschärfe! So schön können Wanzen sein.
