Hi Mick Dundee. What a catch - very good action shot of the stork coming in to land (and on a streetlamp too!) His body and head are nice and sharp, it is a pity about the wings, but I think it is so good you were able to get him on his way back home all those thousands of miles away. Actually the blurred wing ends emphasise how he uses those feathers and makes the capture much more interesting. Good job. TFS.

Fantastic shot! You definitely caught it at the right moment. This really shows off the majestic wings these birds have.
I think the composition will improve if you crop the left area but leave the right side as is. That will emphasize it's movement.
There seems to be a slight halo around it. An artefact of a sharpening filter, perhaps?
Oh, and please change that border. :)
Cheers!

Hi Thomas
I know how difficult it is to take inflight shots so bravo for this one. Excellent details and colours.

Such an innocent. I wish him luck as well, and hopes he makes it all the way to Africa. A daunting thought, when you think of it.
Great shot. Love that wing all spread out. Just magnificent and awe-inspiring. Sharp details on this great bird in flight. Well done and TFS. : )
