[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Decades ago men planted Pappel trees imported from America along the banks of River Rhine. Now they discover that almost all native trees have disappeared. The oak is a native tree and it grows very slowly compared to a Pappel, but his wood is strong and solid and never breaks like now many of the softwood trees do whenever wind blows.
