[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Sie ist eine einjährige, krautige Pflanze, die entweder als Samen überwintert, dann im Frühjahr keimt und im Herbst desselben Jahres abstirbt (sommerannuell) oder im Herbst auskeimt, dann als Keimpflänzchen überwintert, im Frühjahr schließlich blüht und danach stirbt (einjährig überwinternd). Die Kornblume wird zwischen 20 und 100 cm hoch. Die Form der Laubblätter ist schmal lanzettförmig, die spitz zulaufen. Sie werden höchstens 5 mm breit und sitzen wechselständig am Stängel. Die Unterseite der Blätter ist behaart. Die leuchtend hellblauen randlichen Röhrenblüten der Kornblume sind am Rand auffallend vergrößert und steril. Jedes Kronblatt ist zudem dreifach geteilt. Die markanten Randblüten der Pflanze sind sterile Attrappen. Durch sie werden die Insekten angelockt, die dann die inneren Körbchenblüten bestäuben.

Hi Siegfried. A good close up of the Bee on the flower. good detail and natural colours. You have used the light well with a shine on the wings. Its a shame about the grass covering part of the shot. but a good shot all the same. well done TFS.

Bella macro con il bombo sul fiore di centaurea, i fili d'erba in primo piano anche se disturbano perchè coprono un poco le ali danno alla composizione un bell'effetto naturale, buona nitidezza, molto belli i colori. Grazie e complimenti. Ciao Maurizio
