The framing is a bit too tight...would have liked some space all around for a better compo.

Excellent close capture of the Red Admiral showing the beautiful pattern and colours of the underside very sharply. A fine neutral background too. Personally I would have liked a bit more space around it though.

Even the nether wings of an Admiral are beautifully designed with lovely colours and patterns on them, Siegfried.
It is a splendid capture with perfect focus and fine colours on both the subject and the flowers.

Wonderful close-up shot of this beautiful Red Admiral with such amazing colours, details and markings on its wings. Nice pose captured on those pink Lantana flowers. Though the image is cropped a bit tightly it still retains its beauty. Excellent DOF, POV and composition. Kudos.

Hi Sigfried,

Your butterfly images are a lot inspiraing to other newcomers in this field. This admiral is particularly beautiful with splashes of colour all over the underside wings. The BG is also affable. The baseline flowers are upholding the mood of the shot.
