An excellent close-up of a pair of resting Meadow Browns in copulo. The lighting, sharpness and BG are superb in this fine composition and I like the way it shows the female to be dominant over the completely passive male.

This is a great season for the butterflies and I am happy they are coming in hordes on TN, Siegfried.
This is a wonderful shot of mating butterflies, showing the colours and patterns on their nether wings. I guess the one top is a male, going by richer intensity of colours on its wings.
You have also utilized the light to great effect.
