The Kleinelsterchen (Spermestes cucullatus or Lonchura cucullata) is a kind of bird from the family of the splendour finches. It is in Africa south the Sahara resident. It is only missing in the southwest. The Kleinelsterchen reached attained full growth a body size up to 9 centimeters.

Super picture, Biswarup. Good DOF with blurred background. The birds are so crisp and clear and in focus. One can even see the neck of the little fellow on the left. He must have been plucked heavily by one of his group. Wonderful shot. Cheers, Irmgard

Hi Biswarup,
great shot, they seem to really enjoy having this group photo taken. I love how you composed your shot, can't tell this one was taken in an controlled enviroment. Nice work on sharpness and details.

It a great shot but while editing you a deleted a part of the neck of a bird at the extreme left .
If possible retouch it a and repost it.
