I love these furry moths! It always delights me when I find one. This is a beautiful shot with excellent DOF. The flash seems a bit harsh, but certainly makes the subject stand out against the dark background.

Oooohhh, ein edles Pelzchen hat er sich übergeworfen ;-) Hi Heinz, den möchte man streicheln, so weich sieht er aus.
Du hast diese Motte in erstklassiger Schärfe erwischt, ganz super.

Hallo HEinz,
eine super Aufnahme, die Details und die Texturen kommen durch das tolle Licht sehr gut zur Geltung. Die Bildgestaltung ist auch super gelungen vor allem der knappe Bildschnitt gefallem mir sehr gut.

Hi Heinz

This is a lovely little hairy-fairy which stands out so well against the dark BG. The image is very sharp and the colours are natural and pleasing. I like the crooked (or bent) angled line of the leaf running through the image and thus presenting the moth along that line in the frame. You made excellent use of the fill-in flash and managed to control the exposure levels spot-on.
