The Kodiak Bear

Portrait of the Kodiak bear
Among all the bears, most imposing is without question the Kodiak bear, a brown bear which lives in the island of the same name in Alaska.
If Grizzli has the most impressive claws with more than 10 cm to the front legs, on the other hand, Kodiak is, in biped station, most imposing: 3,60 m in height.
This bear is regarded as the largest terrestrial carnivore with a weight bordering a ton. Its peeling clearly varies from brown to dark brown passing by gray.
Like all the bears, it is a recluse who does not seek to communicate with his congeneric. However, although the communication are reduced, the position and the facial expression give indications on the mood of the individual.

Hello Guy,
Great details in your portrait, and I like the profile POV..Good DOF also.
I did a slight WS crop, to give it more of a portrait style.
Well done.
Howard
