süßes Kerlchen - wir haben auch von Zeit zu Zeit einen im Garten - ganz und gar zur "Freude" unserer Katze, denn der stachelige Geselle bekommt dann was von ihrem Futter, unmöglich!!! ;-)

I haven't seen too many hedgehogs on TN, which is a pitty as they are fascinating creatures. This is a well taken shot; nice and sharp, natural colours and a great pov - you were either lying down or you're very short!

Happy to see you in TN. I see you have contributed some good shots for us Tns to see. Toads, butterflies and hedgehogs...hmmm pretty impressive. I like this picture of cute little hedgehog very much. You have manged to capture it with a catchlight in its eyes. And yes i can see the fear too in its eyes. Good shot with well saturated colours, sharpness and details.Very interesting notes that tell the story well.

I used to give them milk when I was a kid, later I have heard that is not so wise!

Nice image of very nice object. I like hedgehog very much.
Good detailed photo but in the background little bit unsharp (but I know that taking picture of moving creature that additionally has a lot of spikes is not easy).
I don't know if you have noticed that it has something attached close to its ear. It seems to be tick, but I'm not sure.

Hi Toba!

He is so nice! And this time the space around it is larger, it's more pleasant to look at it.

I also find it better because you put the animal in a slight diagonal.

Maybe you should watch sharpness or the depth. You could change the exposure, slow down a bit the speed and go up to f 5.6 or more if possible to increase depth.

As you can see, my English is not the best of all, too! But this doesn't matter!

sur celle-ci,le herisson est un peu plus caché et c'est plus agreable d'avoir l'herbe comme environement,de plus la neteté est meilleure sur la tête.

was für ein süßer igel! :-)
schön, ihn laufend und 3-dimensional zu sehen, und nicht am straßenrand.
guter, niedriger blickwinkel, aug in aug.
bei 1/125 und f/3.8 lässt sich wahrscheinlich tiefenschärfenmäßig
nicht mehr viel anstellen, da die rückenpartie mit den stacheln
ein bisschen unscharf erscheint - ist nicht ganz so schlimm, da
das gesicht scharf ist, auch wenn die grashalme davor auch nicht so optimal sind.
jedenfalls, gut erwischt & weiter so, thor.

nice to see more shots of this hedgehog, they are endangered here in the UK and are quite hard to spot. Good low POV, maybe a bit more space towards the top of the frame would make it even better, but it is still a great shot.

Very cute shot. It looks very natural with him peeking through the grass. I can't see the panic in his eyes but I know they do move fast when they want to. Nicely sharp (no pun intended) and lovely colours. Nice POV

an emotionally touching description coming with this very lively portrait of a hedgehog running for a hide. Quite apparently, this animal was moving quickly, and so it has been very clearly captured, well framed, without motion blur.

Lovely photo of this little hedgehog. We have very few of them left in Sweden nowadays, as they get killed by the traffic. It is so sad. Perfect and sharp photo. What do you call them in German, we call them igelkott in Swedish.
