Weilerbach near Bollendorf, Germany.

Weilerbach is a very small hamlet some 3km from Echternach. There are only some few small houses on the luxembourgish side, including some hotels. A small pedastrian wooden bridge crosses the river. On the german side of the Sauer river, within the woods, lies the small but very nice Weilerbach castle.

This picture shows the small frozen river down the catle hill.

Unfortunately didn't have my tripod, so I put the camera on a wooden tronk, which turned out to work quite well :-)

Hello Mike

A lovely low POV for this shot. The exposure is very good.I love the effect the long exposure has on the texture of the running water.
The lighting is very good and the colours are well saturated and you have captured the muted appearance that frost cover creates.
Nicely composed in the frame.
