Steps into water

On a grey and stormy day a colleague of mine, our classes and I travelled to Husum in the very north of Germany. We intended to introduce the children to the wild and rough atmosphere of the stormy coast at the North Sea because we were reading "Der Schimmelreiter" by Theodor Storm. Luckily the weather was as in the novel. So our students left that place with a very vivid memory.
What you see here are steps that are normally leading to a small beach. On that day there was high water so the steps were only leading into the water.
