On our trip to Bötisheim in the north of Germany we came across a small lake where the fire brigade gets its water from. On this lake we saw these swans. I was fascinated by the way they moved and how they looked like on the darkening water. I think they were pairing as they were always around each other. I don't know if they were of the same sex and behaved like they did as rivals or if they were of different sex and were trying to pair. Maybe you can tell me?
