[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The wide-edge turtle is the rarest and largest European country tortoise. The tanks are back at the rear section, particularly in older animals bent slightly upwards. In the middle of the Horn signs are gelbbraune spots. These yellow spots disappear as the older turtles. The ground tanks are yellow to brown with mostly triangular black spots. The Höckerschuppe the eastern Muslim turtle possesses missing from the fire edge tortoise. The tail plate is never shared. The wide-edge turtle comes across Greece, Sardinia and on some Aegean islands. You can choose between 30 cm and 35 cm carapace length. The weight can be up to 5 kg. The overwintering must be in a frost-free space.

Hallo Janusz,
eine sehr interessante Aufnahme dieser Schildkröte. Ich frage mich gerade, wo ihr linkes Vorderbein ist? Das Bild besticht durch viele Details und die einheitlichen Farben, die die Anpassung der Schildkröte an ihren Lebensraum gut nachvollziehbar machen.
Ein weiteres Bild, das dir sehr gut gelungen ist. Danke, dass du es hier mit der Community teilst.
