Die Körperfärbung dieser Art ist in der Regel aus braunen oder gelben Tönen. Sie können ihre Färbung sehr gut wechseln. Der Kehlsack ist recht klein, wird aber bei den Männchen in der Paarungszeit oder auch bei Erregung kräftig rot. Es gibt auch Populationen, bei denen der gesamte Vorderkörper sich rot einfärbt. Die Männchen haben einen ausgeprägten Rückenkamm, der vom Nacken bis zur Schwanzwurzel reicht. Die Weibchen hingegen haben seitliche Rückenstreifen, die gelb sind und ihrem Hinterkopf bis zur Schwanzmitte reichen. Am Kopf und Hals haben die Tiere eine grünliche Färbung, die mit roten Punkten und Strichen gemustert ist. Auf dem Rücken haben die Tiere ca. 6 Querriegel, die braun bis dunkelbraun sind. Die Gesamtgröße dieser Art beträgt etwa 40 - 47 cm. Mehr als ein Drittel hiervon entfallen allerdings auf den Schwanz. Die Weibchen werden nicht gross,

The body colouring of this kind usually is from brown or yellow tones. They can change their colouring very well. The Kehlsack is quite small, becomes however red with the males in the mating time or also during excitation strongly. There are also populations, at which the entire front body dyes itself red. The males have a pronounced Rückenkamm, which reaches from the neck to the tail root. The females however have lateral back strips, which are yellow and reach their back of the head up to the tail center. At the head and neck the animals have a greenish colouring, which is examined with red points and lines. On the back the animals have approx. 6 Querriegel, which are to dark-brown brown. The total volume of this kind amounts to about 40 - 47 cm. More than one third of it are allotted however to the tail. The females do not become large.

Hallo Janusz,

vielleicht solltest du ein Thema starten: Anpassung von Lebewesen an ihre Umgebung? ;-)
Ein weiteres gutes Bild, dass du uns hier zeigst.
Das Tier ist wirklich beeindruckend.
Etwas schade ist, dass die Schwanzspitze fehlt, aber das ist etwas, das einem Photographen immer mal wieder passiert. Man konzentriert sich auf alles mögliche und stellt hinterher fest, dass man doch mal wieder etwas übersehen hat. Jedenfalls geht mir das immer mal wieder so.
Aber diese fehlende Schwanzspitze schadet dem Bild nicht, da du die natürlichen Farben und das gegebene Licht sehr schön genutzt hast und daraus ein interessantes Bild gestaltet hast.
Und mir gefällt die Rahmung sehr gut.
