Hello Peter,
A technically perfect capture of a female A. paphia to show its features at rest with the wings open with excellent detail in this fresh specimen. I like the diagonal placement on the umbelliferous flower in the composition, though maybe a bit too central for my taste.

Lieber Peter,
Welch schönes und natürliches Bild von Argynnis paphia! Der Schmetterling scheint noch sehr frisch zu sein und hat eine feine braun-goldene Färbung. Dazu passt der grüne Hintergrund perfekt. Hab diese Spezies diesen Sommer nur einmal gesehen. Allerdings war ich im August krank.
