Very cute pose of this little Lycaenidae between the petals of a Ranunculus-flower.I don't know exactely about the ID, I think Maurizio is right. An original and well taken shot with a fine vertical presentation.

Hello Paras,
brightly well lighted, well approached portrait of a Lycaenid that is most probably a female of the Soothy Copper, Lycaena tityrus.
The image looks as if there was penty of sunlight available, but looking at exposure data, there must have been rather low light at f/3.2 and 1/60 sec shutter time, and under these circumstances the result is good. Focus is well aimed on the butterfly's head, and both wings are within well sufficient depth of field. Busy background may not always be avoided in the field. Choosing maximum focal lenght, i.e. zooming to maximum tele at macro-mode at compact cameras, might help to achieve a better setoff from background.

A fine mixture of well balanced faunal and floral elements in sharp focus and excellent exposure Paras, the saturated colours look so good against the fuzzy greens.

Though this POV shows this female Sooty Copper somewhat sqashed between the two Ranunculus flowers, it does show the front of the butterfly with fine clarity and this for me is the main attraction of this image.
