Sorry, I don't know the english or latin name, we call it "Gewitterblümchen" - can be translated in:
small-thunderstorm-flower

This tiny blue flowers are growing in the grass like weed. They are only about 5 mm, but there are always plenty of them together and this looks so nice.
I think, it's unusual to find it at the end of october, so I made this shot.
After looking at it in the computer I thought, this is looking like a sleeping face, the stamp is making a shadow like the mouth. I hope, you also like my sleeping beauty.

Excellent graphic picture.

The POV doesn't help identifying the flower, however I love the graphic in it. It looks like a face with two eyes, a nose and a small mouth. Plus of corse a nice "colerette" (collar). TFS

Hi Sabine, interessantes Foto. Stimmt, irgendwie scheint das Blümchen müde zu schauen. Der Blickwinkel ist ziemlich ungewöhnlich bei diesem Makro. Die Farben heben sich angenehm vom schwarzen Hintergrund ab. Wenn ich jetzt nochmals auf die Blume schaue, sehe ich ein altes Mütterchen mit blauen Kopftuch. - Das Bild hat was.
Ich wünsche Dir ein schönes Wochenende.

You know you've been doing too much macro work when you can see this sort of composition without looking through a camera viewfinder! Artistic, imaginative, graphic and abstract!
