Today I visited the Duisburg Zoo in Germany.. We wanted to test some equipment, like the new Canon 5D.. Oooh.. that camera rocks! It was amazing what full frame is adding.. Anyway i saw this Greater Kudu and i wanted to have a real close up.. I mounted the 400mm and took some shots.. But this one looked like black and white, but as you can see.. isn't..

Hi olger
Very good photo.
The colours are as you sayied, but I liked the darker background against your razor sharp shot.
It's a very beautifull and imponent profile.
Well done.

Solid detail, nice profile, well done.

Great setting against the background Olger, I like the framing in the image and especially the detail of the blolodveins in the ears. Very usefull note on your postprocessing!
I should say this "Greater Kudu" has a very deep and wise expression on its face. Perhaps the eye is the most important detail of the whole image. If you keep looking at it you might notice something more than just an animal in the zoo. Completely amazing shot. Truly great masterpiece.

Hello Olger
Nice profile. The sharpness is great showing the chin hairs cleary. You have managed to capture the catchlight in the eye. Well composed with excellent light. Nice work. TFS.

Ha Olger! Wauw, de 5D rocks als ik deze plaat zo zie. Prachtige details en hele goede compositie. Je lens is echt een hele goede aankoop geweest; prachtig resultaat. Ik vind dit 1 van je mooiste platen. Prachtig! Well done & TFS!
