[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello my friends - I hope you have a wonderful day.
Living in Bavaria I have the great luck to have holiday today. So I stayed long in the bed, than had a delicious breakfast and now a little stop here at TN. It seems to be a beuatiful day!

This post here is a little different - I loved this earwig sitting on an iron-rod. It seem it was watching itself like in a mirror, there was a good reflection of it on the iron.
I never thought insects could also be vain?!?

The name "earwig" is generally said to originate from an old belief that earwigs crawl into people's ears and lay eggs in the brain.

Have a pretty day!

Hello Sabine!
Wonderful close up again.I liked colors, details, lighting and especially composition a lot.Have a nice day too!TFS...:-)

Olá,
Great colours and POV!
Well done!
Ana:)

Moín Feiertagsverwöhnte! ;-)

Interesting POV. Good note also. Of course they don't enter in people's ears, but they sure are able to deliver a stromg grip with those two rearside claws.

Regards, Petru

Une prise originale et interessante.

Félicitation et merci pour l'envoie!

Joseph.

Sharp detail seen in this very little guy Sabine. I like the unique POV and you've framed this well IMO..Perhaps in this case the antenae tip should be in? Have a great weekend.. Well done & Thank You!

Sabine, another very nice macro by you.

The guy above seems to be having fun with himself.

Unusual and cool shot. I liked Heinz's workshop.

Nice picture of this "Oorworm", loooking to itself. You spotted it right.

This is a nice macro of this earwig, this must've been a difficult shot knowing that these insects are very small and they move around quite a bit. I still have nightmares thinking about them going into my ear eating my brains, I'm mean what else are those rear cerci forceps for? ;)

Hi Sabine,
Good detail, colours and sharpness.
Composition and exposure are spot on.
Good DOF and framing.
Thanks for posting, have a great weekend.

Hallo Sabine,
Peter

Hi Sabine,
It's probably not the best technically shot you've ever posted, because the focus is quite poor here, but still it's very interesting picture with nice colours.
I like it.
WELL DONE & TFS
