Heinz, another very beautiful insect.

I enjoy colors, pov and the blurred bg. Lovely contrast.

The left wing suggests great and hard battles.

Yet, even with a broken wing, you have given this butterfly all the beauty through immaculate DOF and composition in relation with the budding blooms in the background.

that sort thinks a piece out a wing ar somthing like that yo can also see on a butterfly zoo. Well taken composition, good pov, and a very nice dof, very good job.

uii den hat ich ja ganz verpasst, dabei ist er trotz seines beschaedigtem Fluegel ein toller Falter. Eine schoen Bildgestaltung und Schaerfeverlauf.

eine strahlende Offenbarung!
Herrlicher Farbkontrast und sehr gute Farbwiedergabe. Und sehr harmonisch komponiert.
Das fehlende Eck im Flügel macht den Falter für mich noch interessanter - die Abweichung vom Normalen, die auch in der Werbung für Interesse sorgt.

ID: Der Falter könnte ein amerikanischer "Gulf Fritillary" sein - Agraulis vanillae L. (auch: Dione vanillae), zumindestens aber ein naher Verwandter davon.
