[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This hare definitely disliked the crow in his proximity. Maybe there is a basic enmity because crows can bother young hares. He didn´t give up until the crow had left.
Technically this pic may not be perfect, but i had no chance to ask them to do this again ;-)
Light was already low and i used the full zoom of 89 mm (equaling 430 mm)

Hi Werner,
This shot must be almost imposible to take. I have a similar camera and I try to catch a dragonfly flying and it is not easy at all. Using 1/60 with so fast animals you have worked hard to follow them!
A good action shot under this circumstances.

I love this picture ! This photo is technically very good, I think, in these circumstances. Your were very quick, I'm sure these two were not easy to follow. It is a wonderful action scene, and the blurred wings and legs give us a feel of movement and of speed. Very well done !
Valérie.

wow, this is cool, great action-shot, werner! :-)
the 1/60 is course not so good if you want to
freeze the action, but here it works perfectly
to show the speed and motion.
lucky you, at the right time at the right place.
well seen & captured, thor.

Hi Werner, by the way, I think the technik is point of force of this shot!
The panning is really good with the hare's face in good focus, also if it's running fast.
I did a quick WS but your pic is one of the best action shot I ever seen.

(please let me know about WS)

Hi Werner,
I like this shot, wow! This is so funny; like Thorsten said the 1/60 shutter speed gives this picture a sens of speed. Nice composition and timing :) Thanks,
Claudine
