Hi Thor,
Nice shot of this slimy little fellow, he seems to have one eye looking at you :-) Nice detail, beautiful colours and patterns in the shell. The flash does seem a little strong but just my opinion. Nicely framed shot and an interesting note, great work.

Hi Thorsten
This was well done considering the high speed action you had to capture. You managed to freeze all movement perfectly. This should teach those ‘in flight’ specialists some trick or two.
The composition is great, so are the colours. The details are spectacular, but I think you could have increased the f/stop a little more. Don't you think f/25 was still too shallow? (From my side there was a suppressed chuckle and a WOW.) You even managed to get the BG portions of the leaf OOF to enhance the snail. The exposure was on the button with the fill-in flash brilliantly handled to prevent OE from the slimy shiny surface of the snail's body with just a small patch on the shell.

Very good shot here. Great DOF, tight framing and great detail. Good composition leaving some open space in front and below the snail. I like your note very much, too. It tells me something about those creatures I'm not too fond of because they eat flowers planted in front of my house, and those are supposed to host bees, not snails. Regards,

A well composed closeup, with a great POV.
Excellent DOF, sharpness, and use of flash to bring out some fantastic detail. Great contrast against the green leaf as well..

Brilliant, Thorsten,
wußte gar nicht dass eine Schnecke so hübsch sein kann, sie glänzt so toll auf dem Bild. Und dieses tolle Perlmut-Haus - und sie schaut ganz genau was Du da tust - gut gelungen, vielen Dank. Nachher ist Formel 1, man kommt vor lauter Sport gar nicht aus dem Muskelkater raus ;-) Hahaha!

super Nahaufnahme, toll Schaerfe und die feinen Details kommen sehr gut an. Farben und exposure einwandfrei, da kommt das schleimige richtig zur Geltung. Klasse Perspektive und prima Bildschnitt.
