In Holland we say kiekeboe, it is a great shot, I like the POV, sharpness.

Hi Thorsten,
I like it shyness, trying to be stealthy, but still watching you. Colors, light and DOF are outstanding and I like the space at the bottom of the photo, eventhough it is difficult to look at a 800px long photo. But that is either the problem of my monitor or the website.

Hi Thorsten -- I like the composition with the space at the bottom. It has eye-appeal.
Your dof, is perhaps a touch shallow, though -- it would have been nice to have both sets of wings in focus. Aw well, 2 wings 2 points

Hallo Thorsten,
Nö - finde ich nicht. Mir gefällt es so sehr gut. Auf jeden Fall zeigst Du uns hier die kleine Jungfer aus einen sehr schönen Blickwinkel. Schade, daß die rechten (linken) Tragflächen nicht scharf abgebildet sind. Tut dem Foto aber kein Abbruch. Ich hätte heute vor Wut beinahe meine S7000 am liebsten vor einen Baum geworfen. Schlendere so mir nichts dir nichts durch den Wald. Plötzlich kommt so eine Blaugrüne Mosaikjungfer angeschwirrt und setzt sich keine 2 Meter entfernt auf einen Grashalm. Ich habe noch kein Foto von dieser Prachtlibelle!!! Also Kamera eingeschaltet, d.h. Hebel rum...und das dauert und dauert, vorsichtig 2,3 Schrittchen näher and das Motiv heran, fixiert und scharf gestellt - das dauert bei der S7000 eine Ewigkeit, Finger auf den Auslöser.... und "schwirr" futsch ist sie!!!! 10 Minuten vorher hatte ich ein Reh keine 15 Meter entfernt, überrascht. Auch hier, eh ich die Kamera schußbereit hatte war es schon über eine Anhöhe verschwunden. - Danke für das schöne Foto. Ich wünsche Dir noch einen schönen Abend.

I love this shot. It has a very fanciful feel to it. : )
The pose of the damselfly (peeking out from behind the stem), and your composition of this image (with lots of space) give the impression that this dainty little creature is playing hide and seek with you. Rather than giving off an impression of shyness, I see impishness. She maintains eye contact with you and has a pixie smile on her. (Haha!)
I think it is perfect just as it is. A very delightful and unusual image with a lot of feeling and fun to it. : )

Next your nice picture of this insect. You have selected a very interesting POV. Composition of this shot is great too. Colours, as usual, are very delicate and beautiful. Details of dragonfly are very well. Perfect done and my regards.

die spielt wohl Versteckeln mit uns ;-), lustig wie sie hinter dem Halm hervor linst. Eine schoene Bildgestaltung mit klasse Details und schoenen Gruentoenen, gefaellt mir sehr.
