Hello Sabine,
I have no idea of the ID, I'm not very good with insects. A nice presentation and some great shots, especially the bottom left. They all have great detail, colours etc. but the bottom left one stands out for me, because of the warmer light and colours. Great detail and textures captured too, excellent work.
Regards,
Adrian

Hallo Sabine,
Beste Grüße, Peter

Fantastic photo Sabine,
good photo's, I think it is a carterpillar of a moth I don't now the identity for sur. You made good pcompositions of it, well done.

What a fabulous collage! I've consulted a British book of caterpillars and it could be the caterpillar of the Clouded Apollo (Parnassius mnemosyne)? A species very rare in Sweden. Very nice shots!

Those are wonderful macros, Sabine, and you have them artistically into a lovely montage. I like the bright colors and great poses of this amazing caterpillar in all the shots. Also very sharp and well exposed.

hi Sabine,
very nice presentation. nice POVs, good detail and colours.
is very similar with parnassius larva but this is not a lepidoptera larva. is a larva of Hymenoptera from Symphyta suborder.
i'm not familiar with that species so i don't know where to go further.
i hope this help you,
cosmln

Hi Sabine.
This is fantastic. My poor English doesn't allow me to say all what I want. Light and shadow, sharpness and details, geometric poses of the insects, texture and colours of their "clothes" are outstanding. It cannot be, but I see it by my own eyes. BRAVO and my compliments.
Alexei.

Nice collage, Sabine. They are all excellent shots. Together I thin the viewer gets a richer understanding of the 'pillar, almost like a 3D version.

Regarding the identification: it's NOT butterfly/moth caterpilar - it has too many legs ;-D
It's other insect larvae - I'm quite sure.
Anyway: very good picture, great colours and sharpness.
Thanks

It is not a butterfly it is caterpillar of sawfly Order: Hymenoptera Suborder: Symphyta probably but I am not 100% shure(Tenthredo marginella)
Beautifull photo
Krzysztof
Hallo Sabine,

Dieter
