A great close-up of this beautiful owl, Zeno.
They ARE fascinating birds and so very photogenic.
Wonderful details. Love the "disk" of feathers around his face that allows him to hear better. Talk about a close encounter.

A truly superb frame filling portrait on this Great Grey Owl.
The spot on exposure really shows the colors and detail in the plumage extremely well. You feel like he is staring right thru you. Excellent shot!

Excellent! Fantastic detail and the nice tight crop with the black BG works really well. Great textures in the feathers and an almost perfect exposure :-) Nice alert stare from the Owl as well, great shot.
