Maybe this is the bird species least appreciated in the modern world: Columba livia forma domestica. Feral pigeons are successful, breeding in our cities, eating our fallen french fries. I like them. This photo was taken at Saki's balcony in Munich.

They may not be the most popular of birds but this is an excellent shot. Nice details - I love all the baby feathers. Great POV
