This is indeed a very beautiful and impressive dragonfly and you did good to have your camera on you :)
The details are spectacular, and the POV great. The white surroundings, although artificial, are good for bringing out the very beautiful colors of the hawker.
Very well done!

En bien cherchant (!) la seule chose qui gêne est l'arrière plan qui perturbe un peu la lecture ... mais c'est réparable !

Wow, very sharp photo. The background is not terrible, but anyway, our eyes focus on the details of the insect and the white surface create a better contrast with the colors of it.
