Just another boring moon-shot...this is what it looked
like over cologne about 15 minutes ago - i thought i
would capture it quick before i go to work.
it is interesting to see how it got "smaller"
compared to the one i captured about 4 days ago.

Sorry, looks a bit dark, was better somehow before uploading.
there is a slightly brighter and sharper version in the WS-section.

Thanks & have a great day! :-)

My eyes have yet to wake up so I'm not sure which 'version' I prefer. Cracking work though, incredible detail and a great composition.
Thank you for posting.

Hello Thorsten,
Very admiring picture of the moon. I like this pov and composition. Very well done and seen.

Hi Thorsten,

Again well captured and you can see that the moon has rotated when you shoot it in the evening or in the morning as already said last week, very good shot considering your heavy equipment,

Regards,

Paul

Hi Thorsten,
I think that this one is your best so far! The details are wonderful with excellent composition and exposure! I don't know neither which version I like most between this one and the one in the WS... Well done!

You know what...i like this one better than the full one :)
Really! There are very many shots already of nice full moons, but this one is even more special because it's quite unique :)
I'm not saying i don't like the other one..i do, the details are putstanding, but this one is something else...extraordinay!
Oh...plus...it reminds me of the "Death Star" from the StarWars - you know, when they were still building it :)
Anyway, it's amazing what you can do with your "rocket louncher" - The Exakta 650-1300mm! It's quite a powerfull tool!

Just out of curiosity: does it work well on wildlife? And if yes, how much did it cost? :)

All in all a realyl great shot, Thor! (just like all you other ones :))

Cheers and TFS
Horia

Hi Thorsten:

These are just shockingly great. To be honest, when I saw them as a thumbnail I assumed you took some pictures in a planetarium. Apologies for my assumption. I prefer these photos to the “Moon Over Cologne” because the darkness/depth gives it a feel of mystery. The WS version is very sharp allowing one to see all the detail. Just wonderful.
