No chance, I've tripped over our black cat Chili six times already this morning where she's 'crossed my path'!
A nice detailed shot of this garden spider. I tried a few shots like this yesterday (garden is teeming with them). I was hh and it was a tad windy so not much luck :-(
I really like the composotion but her abdomen is a touch OE (but your probably aware of that).

Oh yeah! Friday, 13th, spider...lovely combination! Great idea for such a post.
He really is big...this is definately their time of the year! Now they are all grown-up and well fead :)
Excellent POV and DOF. very good lighting and sharpness.

brrrrr - schon wieder einer meiner Lieblinge - aber ich hab' diese riesigen haarigen Biester aus dutzendweise im Garten herumhängen.
Eigentlich sind sie ja auch sehr schön, dieser riesige Körper ist schön - aber die Beine, äääähhhh, jedenfalls hast Du sie erstklassig hier presentiert, Danke und Gruß
