Black mushroom?!?
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I made this photo of this curious mushroom on the Friday 13th. I wasn´t able to identify the fungus; can anyone help me, please?
Because of the dark position, I had to take a Shutter-Speed of 1/40 seconds. I think therefore the sharpness is ok.
I wondered about a black mushroom. I didn´t see such ones ever before. Maybe beside of decomposed ones!
Photo-information:
- Shutter-Speed: 1/40
- F-Stop: f/4
- ISO 800
- no flash light
- hand-held

Hi Fabian,
The latin name for this fungus is Helvélla lacunosa. It is quite common in Sweden in deciduous forest and even in gardens. It is edible, but not very tasty.
Excellent shot, nice DOF and good colours.

It is a nice picture with a very interesting subject. Light and details in the fungi is excellent, in the BG a bit too high, but only a personal taste.
Thanks Ulla for the ident. you could update the note including it.
Thansk for posting this one, I find it a very nice mycological post.
Regards, Felipe.
