[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Lepus europaeus - Hare - Feldhase
I´ve seen a few of them, early in the morning, driving to work by bicycle. Most of them start running when i come to a stop, this one wasn´t, I had teh chance to take a few shots. Still it was quite a good distance, used full zoom (420 mm) and cropped. Most probably it would have run if i moved in its direction.

It was sitting on a small path between the fields, in front you see sugarbeets planted. Real hares are not oo common any more in some areas of Germany missing covers (e.g. by hedges) in those open fields.
