This is nice and sharp, colourful and a fine presentation of these leaf beatles Chrysomelidae. Amusing to see one female attracting two males: the last one must be bisexual!

Funny captured scene with unusual concentration of green paint. I think at your house you have applied more delicate colours. But this colour palette is very suitable for these insects. Very difficult set of colour tones. And you managed to reproduce it with great skillfulness. Excellent details and lighting, nice composition and exact cropping. My compliments and TFS.

Hallo Sabine,
bin zwar nur auf´m Sprung da - aber Dein "flotter Dreier" ist es mir wert. ;-)
Diesen Käfer habe ich Ende September/Anfang Oktober sehr häufig an Pfefferminze beobachten können. Es gibt diesen Burschen auch in blau und in orange. (zeige ich später mal - der Winter ist noch lang).
Sehr schönes Makro - sehr gute Schärfe, guter Bildaufbau und natürliche Farben. Danke Dir. Wünsche Dir noch einen schönen 1ten Advent.

Hallo Sabine,
komme endlich für kurz zum Nachholen von Versäumtem nach langen und dichten Arbeitswochen - und finde dieses prachtvolle und noch dazu amüsante Foto von Blattkäfern auf Sauerampferblättern - funkelnden kleinen Chrysomeliden, die uns auf unseren Almwiesen die Pracht von Insekten aus Amazonien ersetzen.
Gar nicht leicht, diese runden Käfer in ihrer Bauchigkeit scharf ins Bild zu setzen. Doch mit konsequent f/16 und sehr gutem Blitzgerät geht hier die geübte Professionelle ohne Zögern zur Sache - und liefert ein prächtiges Ergebnis.
