[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello on this rainy sunday.
I've been searching in my photo-archiv and decided to show you some of my damselfly I captured during the last summer.
Now I'm proud to present you the result - but I wasn't able to name all of them.
I compared them with a book and also with shots of members here (special thanks to harm-digitaal!).
But I'm not able to see the differences between the species, sorry.

So HELP!!! I tell you now the names I think they are right, most will be wrong, I guess!

Left side:

1. Blue-tailed Damselfly - Ischnura elegans
2. Sibirische Winterlibelle - Sympecma Paedisca/Fusca
3. Ivory white-legged Damselfly - Platycnemi latipes
4. Senegal golden Dartlet - Ischnura senegalensis (from Mandalay - Burma)
5. Large red damselfly - Pyrrhosoma nymphula

Right side:

1. Coromandel Marsh Dart - Ceriagrion coromandelianum (from Yangon - Burma)
2. Blue-tailed Damselfly - Ischnura elegans
3. Orange damselfly - Ischnura pumilio var. aurantiaca
4. ???? - could it be a mix of Ischnura elegans and Ischnura Pumilio?
5. Common Blue Damselfly - Coenagrion Puella

Puuuhhh, this was hard work for me, I needed some hours for this post - now I hope you will like it you will tell me the exact names, thank you so much and enjoy the sunday ;-)

Hello Friendly Neighbour :-)!
It is a privilege to be your neighbour in the viewing gallery today, Sabine.
And thanks for the good neighbourly gesture of paying the first visit; I'm flattered!

Names or no names, your collage is a mind-blowing collection of the prettiest looking damselflies ever seen on TN.
And it is beautifully arranged.
Who can expect less than that from a meticulous artist like you?
Best regards,
Ram

Hello Sabine,
Beautifully arranged collage of damselflies.
Each shot is of high quality. I suggest that no. 4 on the right is a female I. elegans.
Very nice to see and admire when we have wintery weather in S. Sweden and I thank you for that!
Best wishes, Ivan

Hello Sabine,
I never managed to have only one good picture of them and here you have 12 of them. May I have the right to be jealous or not, lol? This is a superb montage of all those little beauty. Their colors, details, lightning and POV are amazing, each and everyone one of them. This is very well done, congratulations!
Claudine

Hi Sabine,
A big family;-)
Pity I can't critique them all...
Concerning the ID...
I'm afraid other members are more competent than I am in damselfly matters. I'm not seasoned at all)-:

Hi Sabine,
What a marvellous and awfully valuable collection of Damselflies! It's really handy to have them all under one roof in such a masterly construction. Breathtaking to behold, I understand it almost took your breath to create it! Thank you very much for this elaborate contribution and the informative note.

Really a pedagogic post showing great details and amazing colors.
Some of them seem a bit overexposed to me but this fades in the face of this beautiful post!
This is what TN is all about!

Hello Sabine
I'm in a hurry, but very nice...

Hi Sabine.
You have create a small charming encyclopedia. BRAVO. What a great work.
Every shot is perfect by rich colour palette, amazing lighting, excellent details and sharpness. I especially like their similar cropping, colour tones, POV and DOF. Really perfectly compiled collage. My compliments and beat regards.

Interesting summary of species and colors Sabine with general good presentation.

I like it a lot: composition, POV, DOF, focus, colors, lighting, background, framing, notes.

I like it: sharpness and details

I don't like it: nothing to grumble.

Al presentar 10 imágenes simultáneamente la agudeza y los detalles se pierden por el escaso tamaño de cada una de ellas, de todas maneras es una bonita composición.
Gracias y saludos... Ricardo

When presenting 10 images simultaneously the sharpness and details get lost for the scarce size of each one of them, anyway it is a beautiful composition.
Thank you and greetings... Ricardo

Hi Sabine

Another superb collage from you!
This is again terrific!
You really are very lucky to have seen and captured so many beautiful and different species of damselflies!
The details, colors and lighting on all of them are really splendid and sopt-on and i must say that i like the original presentation and framing.
Sorry...can't really do much about their ID...most of mine were also identified by someone else, too :(

Bravo and TFS
