[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
it appears that the days belong in this wild flower,
this is my own glance,

After the correction of my friend Ivan ,and research that i made today in order to i am absolutely sure,
I was convinced that i made a big mistake ,
this plant is not
Taraxacum officinale-dandelion,
It is the plant
Tragopogon pratensis-Meaadow Salsify,
also known as Showy Goat's-beard or Jack-go-to-bed-at-noon,
The name of plant emanates from the Greek words tragos:goat and pogon:chin,
is a plant in the Asteraceae family,
distributed across Europe and North America, commonly growing in fields and on roadsides.
It flowers in Greece between March and June and its flowers have a diameter of 3-5 cm. The root and buds are edible.

I apologize for my bad research and for big mistake,
my BEST REGARDS Ivan

This photo is from the environmental park Tritsi in Athens,it constitutes one from the last shelters of wild life in the urban environment of Athens.

When I was a small child, I used to make a wish and blow on these. I imagined my wish would come true because they blew in so many directions. This brings back wonderful memories and I love the composition...
Kathy :-)

Hi Nasos!

I notice with pleasure that we have posted the same subject, but in a different way. I like your picture very much. It remembers me my childhhod when I blew the seeds of the dandelion off and watched them flying away. The lighting in your picture is superb and the fine sharpness reveals rich details.

Kind regards

Markus

Hello Nasos,
I missed this while I was away!
This is not a dandelion, though it belongs to the same Compositae family. This is Goatsbeard (Tragopon pratensis) taken from a fine POV with excellent sharpness and lighting.
Thanks and best regards,
Ivan

Bonjour Nasos,
Tu restitues à merveille dans un cadrage parfait toute la légèreté et la fragilité de cette plante dans cette splendide macro bien composée.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.

Hi Nasos,
beautiful capture of this dandelion, ooops goatsbeard : ) in great sharpness and clarity. to me this is new species...always thought something like this would be dandelion.
The hazy and hues at the back really gives a good effect to your well thought shot.

regards,
Foozi

A beautiful photograph. Congratulations Nasos.
I guess, if the right side bud is not there, it would be more effective.
