The female Mallard duck,
she is beautiful when male is absent.
The Mallard/Anas platyrhynchos, probably the best-known and most recognizable of all ducks,
is 50–60 cm long, has a wingspan of 81–95 cm,
she hibernate in Greece and now it leaves for northern Europe,
inhabits most wetlands, including parks, small ponds and rivers
this photo is from the environmental park Tritsi in Athens,
where 168 different species of birds live in the lakes and in his forest,
ideal place for observation and photo if you cannot leave from Athens.

thank you for your good and important criticisms
have a nice Weekend

Hola Nasos,
una dinámica toma que respira realismo, tanto en la pose del ave como el los colores y reflejos en el agua. Bien encuadrada.
Un saludo: Josep Ignasi.

hello Nasos

excellent photography of the female Mallard duck's
open close wings pose, shot with fine POV, DOF and framing,
you frozed very well her wings motion, excellent sharpness
and details, i love that you leaved a good space to show
on the image the water's circles and the duck's reflexion,

TFS

Hi Nasos. This may be a common duck but you have taken a good picture with its wing open. you have captured the movement in the wings with good detail and natural colours. I like the ripples in the water. well done TFS.

Hi Nasos!

You present us a nice wildlife picture. I like the dynamics very much and the natural environment. The unity of the colour tones adds to the value of the picture.

Kind regards

Markus
