Hello laurens,
What an amzing shot! Very interesting picture, with beautiful fine colours and a very original subject. May be the framing is a little inequal and too close, especially on 3 sides.
Best regards
Anne

Hello Laurens

I understand this must be a species of grasshopper. And i am quite impressed with the detail emerging out of this mating shot. The PoV you have chosen gives an excellent view of the details.Their curvature reminds one of the curves of prawns and shrimps!.The colour of the flower makes a nice contrasts to their pale green body.

It is sad that the antenna of the one on the lower side got out of the frame but i can understand the difficult you mut have had in composing this frame to maintain details and sharpnesss of the subjects as well as managing their really long antennae.I only felt that the flash made a bit of OE.I tried a WS to see whether the subjects could be highlighted and focussed upon.Your picture is great, this is just my for my learning:)Hope you like it.

Cheers
Silpa
