Le Geai des chênes est reconnaissable par son plumage bigarré.
Il aime les forêts de feuillus jusqu'à 1400 mètres d'altitudes.
Son chant est un cri rauque qui donne l'alarme à la vue d'un prédateur, à tous les oiseaux.
On dit qu'il : cajacte, cajole, cocarde, frigulote, gajole, car ses cris perçants sont variés selon la cause de l'alerte.

Hi Laurent. A good close up of the Jay. Its a bird i have not yet got but have seen many. You were able to get a good close up of this oe in the tree. with good detail and colours. well done TFS.
