ID: possibly a male of Lycaena phleas L.
Picture: good and very sharp.
Regards, Peter

Hi, Christos - I concur with Peter's ID - both species and sex ;). This one has had a hard life and looks very battered!

Regards, Nigel.

Marvelous image Christos! The wonderful arrangement of objects and depth of field I find them peaceful.

Beautifully composed image against dark background. Is the BG due to flash?

Pour guy...!
Nice shot of a Lycaenidae.
Like Peter writed, it could be a Lycaena phlaeas (Linnaeus, 1761).
Very good BG and DOF!
TFS!

Hi Christos

Lovely closeup. Good POV. Nice colours. Well composed. Stands out well against the OOF BG. Well done. Thanks.
