The crested tit (Parus cristatus) is a widespread and common resident breeder in coniferous forests throughout central and northern Europe. Here in Greece isn't so common and is restricted in relatively high altitudes..
It makes a nest in a hole in rotting stumps. This bird often feeds low down in trees, but although not shy, it is not always easily approached. Like other tits, it feeds on insects, including caterpillars, and seeds

Hi Tasos
A lovely little fellow who blends in well with his surroundings...thanks for sharing. I like the positioning of the bird in this shot and thought you selected a frame which complements the shot.
Cheers
Sue
Good details, good depth, nice BG with branches across rather than plain grey.

Best regards,

Hello Tasos,
Fine capture of a Crested Tit with the crest well raised. Nice sharpness, POV and composition and he stands out well against the OOF natural BG.
Thanks for sharing this beauty,
Regards, Ivan
