This is an edible dormouse (Glis glis). I found it in an abandonned house
It was farmed and eaten by ancient Romans..
Today it lives in continental Europe |

Hello tasos !
This is soooo cute ! :-) Really a lovely little animal, and I also like the way he is looking at you - he seems to be curious and a little afraid. The composition is beautiful, natural colors and nice details. Very well done !
Valerie.
I would have to be very very hungry to eat a mouse, and there are far to many deer in West Texas for it to come to that. As far as the photo, It is very cute and I think it would be a great illustration in a childrens book. I do hope he careful of that rusty nail.

Hi Tasos, very very cute picture of a cute little mouse, me too I love them! I am sure they were a delicacy when romans ate them, sweet and tender meat, just a small crock! ;-)) I like the pov on this one, the little mouse cornered and smiling at you, just curious. Thanks!
Francine
Well, they didn't all get eaten. This one is so cute. I like the angles and lines in the wood that point to him. Nice sharpness and color too.
