This ophrys is the only member of the umbilicata group found in continental Greece. The group is represented by 3 species closely related morphologically and having as the most significant particularity the dorsal sepal bend over the gymnostegium. Flowering time: March-May

Quite close to our O. carmeli. There are so many variations in that group!
