This is once again one of those images that have that overwhelming attraction to the eye. This is in my opinion also a PPP- Pretty perfect picture. The type that one would like to print, frame and hang onto your wall. The flower on which this petite Nymph of a grasshopper is resting is beautiful and bright, and it enhances the beautiful metallic, almost electrifying colours and detail of this hopper to a great extent. Hello Lou,
For me the main subject is the Bush-cricket nymph (grasshoppers don't have such long antennae) and the bonus is the BG Linum flower! :))
I think this is the nymph of the Speckled Bush-cricket (Leptophyes punctatissima) well shown with fine sharpness on the petal of the Linum flower.
