I dedicate to you my friend Bayram,I know that it is from your beloved subjects,
a small gift for today that you celebrate!!!

The Grass Snake/Natrix natrix, sometimes called the Ringed Snake or Water Snake

After ascertainment and important information on the recognition of Natrix natrix and Natrix tessellate,
from Ilias Strachinis, with exceptional knowledge for the reptiles, ** strahos** member of TN
I want to apologize for the identification and to correct my initial title the name of the snake is: The Dice snake /Natrix tessellata

The photographic output is not good, accomplished it perceives me and it does not approach,
this is a result from 15m roughly, where I was compelled to enlarge and to crop so much.
What carried away me they are the forms that created in water with his movement, these undulations that unfolded in the surface of lake,
this picture I hope and I tried to transmit to all of you.

Photographed in the lake Kerkini,in her north-eastern department

thank you for your visit in my collection

have a nice day and good photographs!

Hi Nasos,

A wonderful tribute to Bayram and a nice addition for his celebration. I have never seen a snake swimming so for me this is a special treat. This is really a work of art - little did the snake know what beauty he was creating in the water. The patterns from his movement in the still water are fantastic. Well seen and well done.

Sencilla y original.

Hello Nasos !
I love snakes but we do not have any wild snake where I live, so I can only watch them in zoos or on picturers likes this - and such an excellent picture ! I really love the composition, the smooth surface of the water broken only by some ripples, and I also like the soft colors, the POV, the moment you have captured with the snake swimming in the water. Very well done !
Valérie.
