| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| Birds bathe in water or cover themselves with dust to maintain their plumage. Bathing is most common where there is plenty of water, in drier places dusting is often more frequent. Dusting helps to balance the amount of oil on the feathers. Excess oils, are absorbed by the dust and expelled along with dead skin and other debris. If birds cannot dust, their feathers quickly become oily and matted. Dusting may also help to discourage bird lice and other infestations. |

υπέροχη φίλε μου,πολύ καλή ματιά και η στιγμή που επιλέγεις να 'χτυπήσεις' εξαιρετική,αν δεν ήταν λίγο καμένη θα ήταν τέλεια

Geia sou George,
Funny shot, with nice details on the bird. Maybe I would prefer a vertical composition to avoid the white part of the left (overexposed part?). Best regards,
Catherine
