Hi Ilias

This is a splendid shot of this very beautiful species - Platyceps najadum.
Being a young herpetologist, i love these picture of reptiles that you have. I took a look in your gallery and i saw some very nice ones...i gongratulate you for them.
Here, i like seeing this low-angle POV that you chose, presenting the snake from the side and giving the picture enough clearance for the BG in order to isolate your subject well.
The sharpness on your subject is nice while the colors and pattern on his scales is simply magnificent with those spots fading into that uniform color.
Great work!

Bravo and TFS

Hello Ilias,
Beautiful shot, and beautiful snake
Nice composition and real natural colors
Regards, Dejan

Brilliant pic.
when snakes are rolled up like this, it allows to zoom more and still including them entirely in the pic.
Another plus in the pic is the similar tones (greys and browns) on the snakes and in the background.
The pose of the snake is majestic.
Going close to the ground like this gives also good results.
A pity the snake is touching the left border of the frame. Just a little nit in a suberb shot, though.
