Dolichophis caspius, "Large Whip Snake" is a big balkan snake reaches often 2 meters long and sometimes bigger. A diurnal, non-poisonus snake but very aggressive if caught and it'll bite. Feeds on rodents, lizards, amphibians, small birds and other smaller snakes. In early age it feeds on insects.

Very impressive shot! I did'nt know that there is such big snake in Greece. Very well done with brilliant colours and good sharpness. Did you saw it in captivity? It suppose you did not met it on a stret of Thessaloniki... !)
