[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Searching for cinerous bunting on lesvos on a gloomy day, I was about to give up, nothing was happening. Suddenly my car was surround by 100s of these guys on their migration back north. Even tho there was heavy cloud cover, the colors look nice on this one.

Je zal het maar meemaken, plotseling omringd worden door honderden Gele Kwikstaarten...
Dit is trouwens een fantastische foto. Niets op aan te merken. Grote klasse in alle opzichten. Felicitatie waardig.

Nice pose and I especially like the background. Nature is really wonderfull in that it can suddenly bring such startling images when things seem absolutely dead.

Hoi Jeroen,
Dat moet een bijzonder ervaring zijn geweest en natuurlijk ook moeilijk om dan er eentje uit te kiezen. Ik denk dat je juist geluk had met de bewolking, hierdoor had je mooi zacht licht en geen schaduw. Daardoor is deze foto ook zo mooi. De pose, de scherpte en de DOF zijn bijzonder mooi.

sharpness, details and background are perfect, love the pose with the head turned towards the back, where you left it enough

Hi Jeroen. This is a bird i have yet to see or take a picture of . You have taken this one with fine detail and sharp focusing. I like the pose with the turned head. Stands out well from the plain BG. well done TFS.
