Netocia (Protaetia) morio (Fabricius 1781)
Family : Cetoniidae

I did not find info about this species. I took the photo on a flower of Onopordum (bracteatum?). They were numerous on the flowers. Some specimens were black, others with some white spots and some, like this with a nice metallic brown-black color.

Salut Catherine,une autre demonstration de ta grande classe dans le batir les macros,un petit insect capture' a la perfection plus totale,des details impressionants,dommage seulement un peu pour la lumiere sur la tete...mes compliments,bonne journee',LUCIANO

J'ignore si vous l'avez remarqué mais on distingue clairement un visage humain sur le dos de l'insecte, il y a même les oreilles.C'est sûrement une illusion due à la lumière
