Another one shot of the most common specie in my village
Satyrinae family,Satyrus ferula or Medow brown.
After tree years now shoting this specie again and again only this summer the specie open the wings and stay on this thistle for a shot
This is good because these little friends start loving me |

Hello Thodoris,
nice, well describing capture of this friendly Satyrid butterfly, most probably a male of "Satyrus ferula", as you said. Again, we seem to make very similar observations in places that are quite distant from each other: I have seen the very similar species "Satyrus dryas" several times here in just the same way as you did with wings open, the last observations I made today on a meadow in walking distance from my home in Vienna.
With thanks, and best regards,
Peter
